Since I've done this wrong twice myself, I though I'd share Peter's instructions for stoping and restarting LM_NET. (I've printed these out and keep them in a LM_NET handbook on my desk.) The messages you miss while on vacation can be easily read by gophering to the archives. * * * * Temporarily Stopping Mail From LM_NET * * * * If you want to stop receiving mail from LM_NET for a period of time, all you need do is send a specific message to the listserv computer which handles LM_NET mail. Send the message to this address: listserv@suvm.syr.edu for Bitnet users only: listserv@suvm In the body of the message, type the following: set lm_net nomail To restart your LM_NET mail, send to the same address, the following: set lm_net mail Bonnie Barksdale, LM_NET Hospitality Committee bbarksd@eis.calstate.edu
