I'd respectfully disagree. I think the issue of sigs has been discussed and most people use it a personal means of expression. The Internet is a very anonymous place to be, and anything that helps people "be themselves" is OK in my book. I enjoy reading the sigs (although sometimes they are interminably time consuming) and I think it's OK to know a little about someone with whomw you've just "talked." When I meet someone at work, the mot important thing I look for in them is what kind of a person they are. If their personality presents a problem, then sometimes, no matter how cleverly crafted their miossion statement [or objectives] may be, we won't get along beond the work environment. I think sigs offer readers a good initial indication of the writer's personality and I like them. Bottom line for me: use the question mark (or something like it) and keep the sigs, but use them economically!!! That's my 2 1/2 cents worth (I felt generous today).
