I get quite a few queries here at South Eugene High School about Cliff and
Monarch notes. Our English department frowns on both, but because we are located
only a few blocks from the University of Oregon, all of our students are aware
of their existence. Our HS library does not keep either Cliff or Monarch  in the
collection, and any student who inquires is simply told that Notes are
purchase-able items that are rarely, if ever, found in libraries. I keep the
reference copies of Masterplots, etc. on Permanent Reserve, mainly at the
request of our Engl Dept, as well.
