Library Media Specialists and Friends - Spend a beautiful fall weekend in
the Pacific Northwest at the Washington Library Media Association fall
conference, "Reach out to...the World of Information." Scheduled for
October 13, 14, and 15 in Yakima (Washington wine country!), the
conference features authors Lois Duncan, Lensey Namioka, and Nancy White
Carlstrom. Keynote speaker David Thornburg will take his audience
"Surfing Through Cyberspace." Eighty concurrent sessions feature
literary, management, multi-cultural, teaching, and technology topics,
