Many internet servers are providing slip connections which allow a much easier way of navigating the internet. Our ESU will be installing one sometime this Fall so we can emulate a direct connection at home. One of our technology people mentioned that it doesn't make any differences in speed to buy anything over a 9600 baud modem to navigate the internet. Wouldn't it depend on which service you are connected to? The latest Mac Warehouse lists a 14.4 baud modem for $99 and a 28.4 baud modem for only $150. Does it do any good to buy these top speeds? Please respond directly to me!!! ************************************************************************** Dave Nelson 15228 Shirley St. Elementary Media Specialist Omaha, NE 68144 Millard-Harvey Oaks dnelson@esu3.esu3.k12.ne.us **************************************************************************
