Unison and Instructional Technologist

I have several questions this morning. I got my Unison package yesterday and
am going to give it a try over the holidays. I've saved every message on
LM_NET about it. What I don't understand is: Where is Search Plus? Does it
all come under Catalog Plus now? I must admit that the number of manuals I
received is mind-boggling. Question 2: I lost my assistant to retirement
last month. She will be replaced by an instructional technologist.  Although
I know this person is needed, I still NEED an assistant for our busy
library! I also feel like I will just be the Bookwoman and nothing in the
library will be of importance.  I already get the feeling that this person
will be thought of with more respect then the ol'library lady.  Does anyone
have thoughts on this
P.S. I am at an elementary school with around 500 students.  One week
scheduled , one week totally open, and anytime not scheduled is open. I have
business constantly, which is good, but I need help!@
