Laserdisk information

Several people recently have requested information about
videodiscs/laserdiscs.  I have been using these for about 4
years now and stumbled across a great selection tool when I
first started purchasing.  It is called Multimedia & Videodisc
Compendium.  It used to just have videodiscs but now also
carries cdrom information.  Info is arranged by subject area
with an index in the back.  A brief statement on each product
gives price, purchase info and content as well as grade level.
The subscription is $45.00 a year for the main publication and
a couple of supplements.  If you are doing much with
videodiscs, it is worth it.
