With flexible scheduling, your library "should" be av ailable at all times
for student use. How do you keep track of how many students are
actually using the library at aony one time? Do you need to keep
such statistics? My administration wants to know exactly how many
kids I am "interfacing with" (ughghgh!) per day/per period, as opposed
to "class visits".
Also, what, if any, controls do you use to prevent teachers from dumping
kids into the library? I've got one teacher who keeps sending kids -
often day after day - to me, for test makeup, missing workshieets, etc.
obviously, just to get the kid out of the classroom.
