In terms of recommended CD drives: My company deals in CD-ROM products and hardware, and we prefer to provide Hitachi CD drives for our customers- they're durable and reliable, and the new 6700 model is double speed. NEC triple speeds are getting good press, but Hitachi has been great in the long run. If any one wants prices, send me an email. Another responder to this question mentioned they were having trouble hooking up a NEC CD because they had an IBM PC. A suggestion when ordering CD drives: always tell the vendor what type/brand PC you are hooking up to; a microchannel card should have been supplied in this case. *=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-*> Jim Benn [jrb@agaviion.agfx.com] <*-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=* |-=[ Auto-Graphics, Inc. ]=[ /~~) /~~) ]=-| |-=[ 8 West Main Street ]=[ (__(_UTO - (__/RAPHICS ]=-| |-=[ Niantic, CT 06357 ]=[ .___/ ]=-| *=-=-=-=-=-=-=-*> PHONE: 800-733-6939 = FAX: 203-691-0183 <*-=-=-=-=-=-=-=*
