This is OUR OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!! Those who aren't co-sponsoring MUST be asked to support Represenrtative Reed from Rhode Island when he offers, on Tuesday in the mark-up of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act Re-authorization, the School Library Media Bill HR 1151 as an Amendment to ESEA. IF WE DON'T DO THIS NOW, WE WON'T BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING LATER. Please let your state association legislation committee chair know this if you are in AZ, CA, FL, HI, IN, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, PR, RI, TX, WA, WI Please call and ask to speak to the Representative's Education Staff if you can' t get the person directly. Remember these persons are going to be elected next November. And we will need you again, SOON for the Senate.
