At the recent ALA conference I bought a copy of each brochure available
in the ALA store. Many of them were reading lists of various types.
These reading lists are always advertised in their promotional materials
and are available for purchase. Or you can buy camera-ready copy.
However, I really don't have the budget to buy much of this stuff in
bulk. So I bought one each of everything just so I could look at it and
get ideas for my own use. As far as book lists go - a number of years
ago the University of Texas published a beautiful high-quality book list
for the college-bound student called an "unrequired" reading list. I
believe I still have a copy in my file at work (I'm home today), so I
will look on Monday and post it if I still have it.
