Dear LM_NETTERS:
I am interested in receiving input from others in regard to charging over-
due fines in a 9-12 high school. The fine is 5 cents per school day and
seems to do nothing except use up staff time and create ill-will. I am
close to abolishing fines next year and would appreciate comments.
