I am a high school librarian and I am thinking of proposing a mentor project next September. Several people have mentioned to me that state educ code specifies that mentor teachers must be in the classroom 60% of their day. I know that LM_NET members include California librarians who are or have been mentors. My question: how did you get around the 60% teaching/classroom requirement? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Judy Matthew -- ********Judith A.
