Floyd, Yes, you are partially correct. You definitely need more RAM to play QuickTime Mac products. However, despite the amount of RAM that you apportion, these products will still appear jerky since they were designed to play at a less than real-time ratio. I don't know what type of Mac you are using, but I can run QuickTime products in a networked environment without the product jamming up or stopping.
