AECT Professional Development Conference

Every summer Region 9 of AECT (Association for Educational Communications and
Technology) holds a 4 night/5 day conference outside of Portland, OR. While
this is set-up for and geared toward members of Region 9 (OR, WA, ID, AK, CA
and points west), anyone who wants to come is invited. The cost for the
conference and room and  board at a relaxing conference center just minutes
from Portland, overlooking the beautiful Columbia Gorge (have you seen
Maverick?  The riverboat scenes were filmed near there!!!) in only $250!!!
The dates for this year's conference is July 18-22. If you are interested,
please email me directly with snailmail address and I will send registration
info to you. Topics for this year's conference include lots of CD-ROM
(hands-on time included) Webbing, and telecommunications. Don't worry, even
though we work hard, we also play hard. We have loads of fun and it is a
terrific way to find out  what others are doing.
