I don't have a dectective name, but a helpful reference source for anyone
searching, considering a search for birthparents is: SEARCH: A HANDBOOK FOR
ADOPTEES AND BIRTHPARENTS, 2ND EDITION by Jayne Askin and Molly Davis,
published by the Oryx Press, $24.50; 1-800-279-6799. Askin herself is an
adoptee, so much of the information was gathered through personal
correspondence with search and support groups, search consultants, and
private reunion registries. Hope this helps.
