     Texas has the distinction of having three ALA accredited Library
School programs with two of them in the same city of Denton. The
University of North Texas offers an excellent, high quality program
which is augmented by the wealth of educational, cultural, and social
resources of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

     The University of North Texas School of Library & Information
Sciences received over $700,000 from the Department of Education Title
IIB Fellowship money for students during the past two years. In
addition, there are various other scholarship and assistantship monies
available. Any student receiving such money is eligible for in-state
tuition rates regardless of current residency.

a listing of schools.
