Cataloger, Library Processing Center.  The Spring Branch School District
is seeking applications for the position of cataloger to provide original
cataloging on the Bibliofile Cataloging Network for books and audio-visual
materials for the district's thirty-six fully automated libraries.

Qualifications:  MLS from an ALA-accredited institution preferred;
knowledge of AACR@, Revised; DDC20; LC Subject Headings; MARC coding in
all formats; reading knowledge of Spanish; computer literate with good
keyboarding skills.  Teacher certification is NOT required.

Salary range: $24,000 minimum, depending on qualifications and experience;
228 days per year; excellent benefits.
