I agree with Bonnie. Helping faculty members research information for their own children can be a great way to show off the library. Also, in some areas of Los Angeles (the Valley specifically), the earthquake caused public libraries to shut down. Thus, helping faculty members is a way of helping them cope during a time of stress. It's a great PR device when done properly!
