Help!  We have been having an epidemic of barcodes, pockets, spine labels
being riped out and off the books.  The students think they can get through
the security system this way.  Of course we have been catching them when the
student exits the library (Thank goodness).  I'm not sure how the students
should be dealt with.  The administration is very supportive, but I would
like to be consistant.  Currently, the student is charged the price of the
book and given discipline points.

Have any of you had this problem and if so, how do you handle it?
