Macintosh Kermit does not have a dial facility or dialog. When you start
up, just type ATDT and the telephone number, then return. You may have to
put the modem into local mode first, with three plus characters, but not
likely. You might also have to give your modem other configuration
commands to get it to make the connection correctly, but give it a try
with just ATDT first.
