The one from nView (Spectra C Model SC21) is really good. I have used in for
both DOS and Mac. It is very small and slides into itself for a nice small
travelling footprint. It is light and compact (if you are traveling around with
it!). Now the bad news: It costs about $5,000.

I could say the same things about the Sharp top of the line, too. It is
physically larger however. Similarly, very expensive.

Oh yes, both are active matrix and therefore do full motion video out of the
box (30 FPS) and NTSC/PAL/S-Video with add-ons of around $750.

I have not used them, but there is also InFocus, CTX, and Mutoh machines
mentioned in the 11.29.93 MacWeek (P.32).

nView Corp. 860 Omni Blvd. Newport News, VA 23606 (804) 873-1354 //(800)
736-8439.

InFocus 7770 SW Mohawk St., Tualatin, OR 97062 (503) 692-4968// (800) 327-7231

Mutoh has some really high end specialized stuff, but I haven't tried any of
it. They are at 500 W. Algonquin Rd. Mt. Prospect, ILL. 60056 (708) 952-8880
