Now, Lucy, I don't feel like the only librarian in town with lost books. --Message below forwarded by <cbrown@ualred.ualr.fred.org> X-Files: 0 >From acme!news Fri, 18 Mar 94 21:51 Received: by ualred ECI78718: Fri, 18 Mar 94 21:51 Version 2.4 2mar94 Date: Fri, 18 Mar 1994 20:27:36 -0500 Reply-to: jmcgee@k12.ucs.umass.edu From: Joanne McGee Northfield ES <jmcgee@K12.UCS.UMASS.EDU> Sender: <sysop@ualred.ualr.fred.org> (From: &sig.lmnet) To: &sig.lmnet Subject: lost(?) books in June Approved: schl-sig-lmnet@acme.fred.org Message-ID: <ECI78718@ualred.ualr.fred.org> X-From: ps: schl.sig.lmnet Schlnet: schl.sig.lmnet It's snowing AGAIN tonight, but I'm thinking of the end of the school year, a rather difficult time for me because of the hassle of getting books back from students who do not seem to care. My overdue slips and bills are often ignored. I have some success in announcing that I will withhold report cards, but I've been told that maneuver is illegal. Does anyone have a successful strategy, specific hints, or good ideas? -- Joanne McGee 413-498-5842 Librarian jmcgee@k12.ucs.umass.edu Northfield Elementary School Northfield MA 01360 <cbrown@ualred.ualr.fred.org> ------------------ 34.43.48N, 92.14.32W Carol Brown Teacher K-12 at Franklin Incentive, Little Rock Little Rock, Arkansas Telecommunications.....where all communicators are equal.
