Re: 7th and 8th grade English classes

The "canon" for these kids includes, to my mind, all of the popular YA
authors: Zindel (to start at the end of the alphabet), Voigt, Duncan,
Lowry, Adams, Alexander, O'Dell, Paulsen, L'Engle, Miklowitz, Peck (both),
Conford, Sleator, Taylor (both), Nixon, Holland, Greene, Kerr, and
Bennett.

Now, for sure, I have left off some major ones which I am certain will be
supplied to you by the wonderful people on this list!
