Here are the results of my very informal survey of technology use in schools.
Thank you to those who responded.  I think that the results are VERY
interesting.

Benefits of technology:
Discovery learning, ease of writing, ability to manipulate data, variety of
forms of knowledge, exposure to technology, cross transfer of knowledge,
preparation for job market, new means of expression, increased interest,
ability to exchange assignments, access to information without intimidation,
learning to adapt to change, learning to effectively communicate ideas in a
variety of ways, overcoming fear of changes, "sister classes" throughout the
world, competitive skills, solving real problems, motivation,
visual-tactile-auditory delivery with immediate feedback as to progress,
student centered classroom, increased diversity of knowledge base of
students, increase confidence.
