Dear LM Netters,

     These are the results of the responses from my request
regarding information on fill rates from Baker & Taylor or
successes with ordering from other companies.

     Most people had difficulty with B&T, so I was not alone.
But some said that limiting an order EARLY in the year and
stating "no backorders" and "no substitutions" helped.

     Repeatedly, the names Follett and Ingram popped up as
reliable companies on fill rate, so they look like excellent
sources to substitute in the future.

     If anyone has the address for Ingram, please forward it to
me by e-mail.
