Dear Netters: I recently came across a great book about the internet in a bookstore. It's called _The Internet Unleashed_ (Prentice Hall, 1994) ISBN 0-672-30466-X It's a huge book (over 1387 pages) devoted to everything you always wanted to know about the internet. I found it especially interesting because chapter 40 is about lm_net, and is written by Susan Kinnell. The book is pricey ($44.95 USA) but it comes with a software disk. There may be better books on the internet (this is my first one) but so far this seems to be exactly what I need. What do you think? Does anybody have any other recommendations? I'm going to be spending the summer studying the internet on my own. Sylvia Adair, MLIS graduate, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee adair@csd4.csd.uwm.edu
