Dear Carol, I'm not really on LM_NET, I have accessed LM_NET through PBS
education network. I seem to be able to post messages and receive mail, but
communicating is not easy. I can not see my messages as I type them. I
press on anyway. I will, this summer, really go on the Internet. I
understand that I am on a node. The PBS pulls down boards it feels the
educational community will be interested in. Since there are several SLMs
with local forums, LM_NET is available for reading and some response. I
can't access the achives or ERIC from here. Nontheless, this is exciting.
To hearfrom professionals from all over the country is simply remarkable.
My world will not be the same. I am encouraged. Thanks for you for your
public reply.
