Plagiarism

I think it depends on the reason for the suspicion.  If someone thinks the
student's work sounds familiar, then pusue it if you want.  But to suspect
plagiarism *just* because a student turns in exceptional work seems a bit
inhibiting to me.  And, sooner or later a chronic plagiariser will probably
be caught anyway.  But that's just my opinion, whatever that's worth.
