        The Columbia Public Schools in Columbia, Missouri, is seeking
applications for two elementary media specialists for the 1994-95 school
year.  The Columbia District is seeking individuals with a committment to
incorporate technology into the utilization and access of information for
students and faculty.  All media centers in the district are automated
and all have Internet access.  Over 1/3 of the schools already have
electronic access to the media center from the classrooms, including the
Internet.  The Columbia District is a rapidly growing district in a
college town.  With over 15,000 students, the district is expected to
reach 20,000 students in the next 5 years.  Columbia has been ranked by
Money Magazine as one of the top ten communities in the country.
