TARGET> Water Damaged Books

   The recent floods in East and Southeast Texas have wreaked havoc on
many lives and some of the worst damage occurred in libraries and private
book collections. I was hoping members of LM_NET with experience in such
disasters could give some suggestions for salvaging the water-damaged books.
Any special tipson saving the volumes would be appreciated.

    Also many computers were submerged and need repair. If any technologists
with special expertise on safely repairing such computers would comment
about their methods it would be much appreciated.
