        Thanks to all who helped out with their assistance and
information when I asked for help with "Where the Lillies Bloom".  As it
turned out, surprisingly, the professional librarian in my own county had
her roots in Appalachia.  Nancy Lively came to our school, brought
beautiful quilts and a rocking chair her grandmother's grandfather had
made, and told our students about life in Appalachia.  She is planning to
come back to tell Appalachian folktales.  She also ordered through
interlibrary loan, the Foxfire books.

        Thank goodness for all of you and the power of the net!
