Am I the only one out here in LM_NET land who thought the person asking
us to NOT send messages during AASL was being funny?  I thought it was
funny on a couple of levels; first, that anyone might presume that an
entire community would stop communicating because they were going to be
gone (another example:   my asking the faculty to not talk to each other in
the
lounge when I'm gone on sick leave!) and second, that anyone could begin
to believe after all the spirited debate on this list that they could
tell anyone else what to do, is funny!  And please, do excuse my grammar
because I KNOW it's fragmented--as I was with giggles at this whole idea.
:)  I suppose it's a good reminder that when we're being funny, we need
to somehow convey that to our readers.  :)  This, of course, assuming
that the original writer WAS being funny...  Pat
