Not going to AASL?

I am fortunate enough to be going to AASL this year, but I know many
LM_NETters cannot....

...so here's a thought!  I'll share notes of my favorite session if others
will do the same.  Keep the summary brief and include pointers that will
help others.  If you send them to me (BAUMBAD@mail.firn.edu), I'll post a
hit on Monday, November 21.  Maybe some year you'll do the same for me?!

Also for those who cannot attend, we'll be presenting a session on Saturday
afternoon about teaching about videodiscs.  We'll be sharing materials we
have developed to help others learn about this technology.  Materials
include handouts, outlines, transparency masters, and disk files which
include a presenter's tool, templates, a barcode generator (mac version
only), and a self-directed tutorial.  If these materials would be useful to
you, please send two blank diskettes (3.5") for the Mac or DOS version and
three blank diskettes (3.5") for the Apple IIgs version along with your
name, address, phone number or e-mail address and THE VERSION YOU ARE
REQUESTING (Mac, DOS, Apple IIgs) to:

The materials were orginally designed for media specialists who found
themselves having to teach other teachers about videodisc technology in
Florida schools.  We hope you will find them useful.
