FYI - There are several free computer programs for IBM-type PCs, provided as a group, titled AccessDOS. The "blurb" on the front of the manual reads, "Provides extended keyboard, mouse, and sound access for DOS user's. [sic] It is especially helpful to those user's with disabilities. Developed by the Trace Research and Development Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison." They send both 3.5- and 5.25-inch diskettes. The address on the packing slip is: PC Books & Special Promotions 107 Tom Starling Road Fayetteville, NC 28306 Program titles: StickyKeys; MouseKeys; ToggleKeys; Keyboard Response Group: RepeatKeys, SlowKeys and BounceKeys; SerialKeys; ShowSounds; and TimeOut. The programs allow the keyboard to do things for a person with limited hand or finger capacity (temporary or permanent); for example MouseKeys allows the directional cursor keys to function as a mouse...
