The assassination of President Kennedy, like other special moments in
my lifetime are etched into my memory forver. Some other notable events
that stand out include: the John Glenn space launch; the Christmas flight
around the moon and the first moon landing ; Nixon's resignation speech; the
news of Elvis Presley's death; the assassination attempt on Reagan; the
first shuttle landing and the Challenger disaster. These were epiphanies
in my life.

I was ten when Kennedy was killed and recall vividly my 4th grade
teacher leave the room crying. I was too young to feel a lot of grief,
but I did feel a sense of loss that grew as I matured. I researched the
killing and wrote articles about the killing later in my life. My biggest
impression of the entire three day scenario was the grief of Jackie
Kennedy, the bravery of John John (the president's three-year-old son),
and the murder of Oswald (another subject about which I wrote and published
an article).

Do I feel there was a conspiracy? Yes and I feel science will solve
some (but not all) of the mysteries in the future using new techniques. The
bullet fragments in Connally's body would solve some questions and it's a shame
they didn't get those fragments before he was buried last year.
