On November 23, 1963, I was a young mother with 2 young children living in New Jersey. Everyday, after lunch, I would take my 3 year old and my 6 month old baby for a walk. On my way back to my home a neighbor came out on her porch to tell me the horrible news. I rushed home, turned on my TV, and cried. I could not believe what I was hearing and seeing.
