Kid (and adult) proofing P.A.C.S.

Thanks to all the people who took the time to recommend several good
programs for macs.  I really appreciate the effort, but I was actually
referring to public access on-line computers, not Macintosh PCs.  The
intent was to allow patrons restricted access so that they could both
search the database and check out materials when the library is not
staffed (there is one half-time employee).  Any ideas?  Thanks.
