I would think any respectable organization wouldn't be hiding behind
the anonymous "large national foundation".

How do I know this isn't just some ploy to build someone's junk mailing
list?  How do I know this isn't just some ploy to unload junk to
schools at inflated prices?

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
