block scheduling and music, weights,foreign language

I have noticed a great deal of correspondence about block scheduling.  I
am sorry that I did not pay a lot of attention to it.  My principal
recently asked me what kind of information I had been reading as to the
pros and cons especially in reference to such classes as music, weight
lifting and physical education, and foreign language.  Would some of
those who have had some expereince reply to me personally as soon as
possible.  Anyone else who has input from expereince, please reply.
