Staff Development related to Technology

Dear Fellow LM_NETTERS,
     My name is Vicki Maiden and I am the Media Specialist at an
elementary school in St. Charles, Illinois.  I am also a member of the
district Technology Council which was just established this year.  Part
of my responsibility on this council is to work with others to develop
staff development on the use of computer technology.  Since our school is
the only one presently using the Internet, I was asked to pose a question
as to how other districts have approached staff development.  What have
you done?  How did you get started?  Any and all responses will be
appreciated.  We are also in the process of developing a statement about
software use so we are using our current software legally.  If your
district has developed a policy about the legal use of software, please
