I apologize for my last posting that was so garbled.  MECC will no longer
sponsor the conference but TIES will.  It is scheduled for the first part
of December 1995.  It is my understanding that the MECC board of directors
no longer wants to be in the conference business.  There were many
wonderful sessions and I met some great people and I learned a whole lot.
My hat is off to the teachers, media specialist and technology whiz at St.
Louis Park, MN.  They have their 2nd and 3rd graders doing some pretty
wonderful things on the WWW.  They have their owm web server and the
students are publishing their work.  Also they have set up their program so
that other students who get on their web can answer questions.  I was very
impressed with this presentation.  Good technology planning sessions, lots
of multimedia and even some information literacy.  The conference really
provided lots of food for thought and gave me tons of ideas to push at my
staff and get us moving!  Again I apologize for the last garbled posting.
