It is based on Renzulli's Triad Enrichment model. The program is library based, and is designed for MOTIVATED students. They may choose any topic of interest to them, research it, design a project around or about it, and present it to their class or a small group. Projects are to be creative in nature. Each Rubato project is customized to the student's needs and abilities. Students do not have to be "identified" rather, participate from interest. The six elementary library media centers support this program through information retrieval, encouragement, and one-on-one support.
