On 11/30/94 I will be introducing the concept of E-Mail and the Internet to primary age students as part of our integrated library skills instruction during a unit titled American Album. During the unit students learn about American symbols - the flag, the White House, Postal System, etc. The "morning letter" - which is the teachers' way of introducing the concepts for the day - is delivered to each classroom via the "pony express". I thought it appropriate to update the students on other possibilities. My objective is to have them be both senders and receivers of mail. I plan to have each class send a short greeting to the White House. I would also like them to have greetings awaiting from you. So, if you have time before Wednesday please say hello to: Primary library classes Corl Street Elementary State College, Pa. Sue Moyer, librarian esx00003@LLPPTN.LL.PBS.ORG --
