Carol (and/or anyone else out there who knows something!)

The other day I heard on NPR that scientists had discovered the 110th
element, but hadn't named it.

NPR was/is sponsoring a Name That Element contest, and anyone who wanted
to enter could e-mail their entry to:

        atc@npr.org

I wrote to NPR to ask them for details about the discovery, such as who,
where, how, etc. so my class would have some background info to go on
before deciding on a name for the contest.

NPR hasn't written back, and all my claims about how fast the internet
can be are being proven WRONG!

Can anyone share with me some info about the 110th element?

Please mail replies to: smueller@eagle.esd189.wednet.edu

And - a rapid reply will restore 5th grade FAITH in the 'net!

Thanks,

Shellie Mueller
