Love poem

A student here is trying to find a poem but know not the author, title, or
first or last line.  The jist of the poem is "If you really love a person,
set them free.  If the love is there, it will come back to you."  This sounds
familiar but so far no luck in finding.  I would love to be able to say to
her.  "This is the poem, I found it through LM_Net."  Thanks.
