Dear LM -Gang Mail is running 90 to one against having the item sit in a box waiting for me to catalog it. BUT we use batch processing because we are the central processing for the whole campus. I have separate bar codes for each of 5 locations. When I export the information to type up the cards and labels I have to specify by bar code what numbers i want. If I am cataloging in straight runs of accession numbers my life is much easier than if I have to specify a number of different locations to MOLLI. We have an online catalog but we are not yet up and running for circulation except in the lower school. Is there no sympathy for me??? I'm feeling defensive! yiiikes <g> Roselle American School for the Deaf r_weiner@sacam.oren.ortn.edu On Mon, 3 Oct 1994, Gordon Waldron wrote: > If you have an automated circulation system, you can attach some bar codes > to index cards with "temporary" written on them.
