My district allows only G rated videos to be used in class.  Any PG must
be ok'ed by the principal and has to have parent permission.  No R rated
under any circumstance.  This is  K-12 district.  (sigh -- too many
substitutes and a few teachers abused video usage in class, and this is
the result.)
