We favor a system that makes it easy for our students to make use of the
Media Center, and are feel that the fewer obsticles there are for students,
the better it is.

I suggest rethinking the idea of basing access to the MC on academic
performance.  Many of the kids who do not excel academically need the
service and materials that we can provide--perhaps even more so than
"brighter" students.

In the Media Center we want to lower barriers, not raise them.
