Lorelei

Dear Colleagues,
     Thanks for the many responses I received about Lorelei.  I
learned it is a dominant rock jutting out into the Rhine River
and was also the name given to a beautiful mermaid whose song
lured boaters to their deaths in the turbulent waters below.
Furthermore, Wagner included Lorelei in his opera, "The Ring" and
a brewery in Montana even had a beer by that name back in the
early part of this century!
     Whew, I know I'll sleep a lot better now!
